Youth Camp: Relationships and Reflections on Genesis 2
This year, our youths will be learning about relationships at their camp. Joshua shares with us why they picked this theme, as well as how the church can participate and help in this camp.
Upcoming Weekender
We will host our very first Weekender on the 5-8 of September 2024. Joshua has been helping with the coordination and planning of this Weekender, and he shares ways that the church can participate in prayer and by offering practical help.
Upcoming Youth Day Camp 2024
Our youth will be holding a Day Camp on 21 and 22 June 2024, titled “Unpacking God’s Big Picture” and Joshua shares with us what they’ll be doing and how the church can be keeping them in prayer.
Counselling One Another
Through the CCEF course on counselling, Joshua learnt that humility and neediness for the gospel, attributes of a follower of Jesus, are what qualify us to counsel one another.
Hebrews 12 and Discipline
Last Sunday, Elder Caleb exhorts us to consider the call from Hebrews to regard suffering and pain as part of God’s purposeful discipline in our lives. Here, Joshua Lowe draws on his recent discipline of his child to encourage us to be open and willing to receive discipline from God and our church community.
Does Science Disprove Christianity?
At their 16 September 2023 youth session, Joshua led the youths to think about this topic. Through this talk, the youths were encouraged to consider how science and Christianity are not at odds, and the pursuit of science may also help us to worship God.
