Dear GBC…
As announced at our Members’ Meeting in March, Samuel, our ministry worker for Care Groups will be moving to join Mark and his family in their ministry. Samuel is taking this opportunity to share some of the things he is thankful to God for in our church, as well as ways that we can pray for him.
Meditating on the New Creation
What gets you through difficult circumstances? Samuel reflects on how Hebrews 11 can be applied in life, as we learn to hope in what is yet to come and eternal.
How Important are Studies?
Our youths explored this topic at their recent youth session. Samuel Ho helped them to see rightly, the value of studying.
Jesus, Strong and Kind
Samuel Ho asks us to consider Jesus, the merciful and faithful high priest who has made us clean with His blood, and encourages us to draw near to God through Him.
Practical Help for Christian Friendships
Samuel follows up on the topic of Christian friendships and offers us practical ways we can live it out. He offers us some ideas and questions that we can ask of each other to deepen and strengthen our friendships.
Why Is There So Much Injustice in the World?
God is a righteous God who judges and Samuel Ho explains that we would be absolutely terrified if He is not so.
On Sloth and Diligence (Part 2)
Samuel shared this recently with the youths at their weekly youth meeting. Our youths are working through the book of Proverbs now, and looking at how this book has wisdom for life. In this study, they considered what Proverbs has to say about sloth and diligence. This is the second of two parts, and part one can be found here.

The Pursuit of Significance
Samuel Ho looks back at the time he spent at architecture school pursuing significance and reminds us that we are justified in Christ alone.
Partnering with Kay Poh Road Baptist Church
Samuel Ho, who was one of our interns from July to November, shares about the experience Pastor Oliver and some of the interns had to speak at Kay Poh Road Baptist Church's youth camp.
Encouraging by Understanding
Pastor Eugene encourages us to appreciate the deacons who serve among us, by serving alongside them.
