As the Generations of Grace series ends, Pastor Oliver leaves us with five encouragements for our lives in the valley. How have you been encouraged to press on through our series in Genesis?

Samuel encourages us to see God's goodness and grace in the common every day things—good food and rain.

Pastor Mark turns our attention to the picture of the church that God has given us in the epistle to the Philippians. He reflects on the beauty of the church as God has revealed to us in His word, and encourages us to consider how we too, can bring God glory through His body, the church. 

Carrie reflects on how God has showed His grace to her and her family. She helpfully reminds us that each conversion is a miracle and act of grace, and encourages us to persevere in sharing the gospel.

Do you walk away from God or do you draw closer to the Lord during tough times? Pastor Thian Chye looked back at how God's tough grace during a difficult time in his life has humbled him and enabled him to trust and submit to God.

Joshua reflects on the lives of Judah and Joseph, and encourages us to look to Christ, the perfecter of our faith.

Why did God wrestle with Jacob? Timothy Wan meditates on Genesis 32 and finds comfort that God wrestles with us.

How do we disciple one another? Yanadi shares a few tools that we can use for discipleship and emphasises the importance of praying for one another.

Bibianna reflects on what God has taught her through the Genesis series.

Chua Seok Eng, who has been serving faithfully in our Children’s Ministry for the last 46 years, shares how the church has been shepherding our children.

The Bible speaks often of passing on our faith and testimonies to the next generation. We spoke with two couples of different generations: Vincent and Sachie Ong, and Mori Shigeyuki (known to many of us as "Shige") and Kitty, on how they journey and encourage one another in their walk with God.

For the month of June, we will be featuring guest writers from GBC who will share how God has been faithfully working in our midst across generations. This is in line with our current Generations of Grace series. So, let us look to Jesus, who leads us from death to glory! Let us gather with and encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ with the promises of the gospel. And let us speak of Jesus that others may also know Him.
