Help Wanted! (June 2023)
At our recent church camp, we talked about how we could do spiritual good to one another. As members of one body, there are both formal and informal ways that we can work together to meet each others' needs. It has been encouraging to see how members have been doing life together—giving rides on Sundays, preparing meals for others in the week, inviting members to homes for dinners etc. These are wonderful opportunities to meet physical needs, and also provide a chance to talk about spiritual matters.
In the corporate life of the church too, with different formal ministries in place, there are also needs and opportunities for service. We are highlighting three ministries here that are recruiting members. If you are available and keen to serve, do contact the various church members!
Every service, a team of committed volunteers makes sure that slides, video and sound run smoothly for worshipers both in the sanctuary and at home. The ministry is looking for volunteers for three roles: slides, camera and video mixing and sound mixing. A few members of the AV team share their experience in an interview here.

Mums Connect exists to connect, encourage and equip mums to apply the gospel to their everyday lives. The ladies fellowship around the reading of a Christian resource together, and this July, they'll begin reading “Untangling Emotions” together. Mums of all ages are invited to join. Those who are interested can contact Li Szu (9831 3461).
To avail mums-with-young-tots to engage deeper, Mums Connect is also looking for helpers to mind the little ones during their time together. If you are keen to serve, please contact Sachie (sachiehori3@hotmail.com).
The Missions Committee is looking for a Communications Specialist. We are looking for someone who is passionate about using their communications skillset to keep the church updated with new developments and prayer needs of our missionaries in the field. This person works with the Committee and the church’s communications team to regularly update Missions content on our website and the e-news.
