Priscilla Talk: Understanding Biblical Conversion and Evangelism

Keri Folmar, who spoke at our recent Women's Conference on 1 March 2024 is one of the hosts on Priscilla Talk, a podcast by 9Marks with the goal of helping women thrive in the local church. 

In this week's episode, they invited someone who is familiar to us at GBC, Megan! They discussed the topic of "Understanding Biblical Conversion and Evangelism". The podcast has been discussing the 9Marks of a healthy church and this episode discussed the mark of conversion and evangelism. 

They spoke of the importance of having a biblical understanding of conversion for the church and how it is lived out. They also unpacked what this means in the context of parenting, as parents do the faithful and consistent task of evangelising to their children and praying that God will convert them. 

They also addressed how we are all called to share the gospel but acknowledged the real fears that we have in doing so, and how we keep trusting God in our struggle. God has also given us each other in the church to encourage, and to do the work of evangelism together!
